Raul daSiva directed a film short with Shep in 1973 called "No Whistles, Bells, or Bedlam"
He says on his website:
"Of all the celebrities I met during my time at bat, it's my deeply felt conviction that I have known a handful of the true media geniuses of their time. . . The ones who influenced me the most: Jean Shepherd (Shep to his friends) Rod Serling, Frank Capra and Sterling Hayden."
